Blue Line Rates

At Blue Line Limo, we believe in being up front about pricing.  We are not comfortable with the typical industry practice of giving low quotes that turn into surprisingly high bills full of hidden fees, so we decided honesty was the best  policy.

The following information explains the various factors that go into calculating the total rate for a trip.  This information is for reference purposes only, and it is important to call and speak to a reservation agent if you need an exact quote.  View Sample Rates HERE

Alone Car Rates
The baseline for any Alone Rate is determined by the customer’s location and destination, and is based on pre-established rate zone.

The total fare is calculated by starting with the baseline Alone Rate for the trip and taking all factors relevant for the particular reservation into account, such as options selected and time of day.

Additional Fees May Include: Add-on Options Include: Complimentary options include:
•    Late Night Rates (see chart below)
•    Cost of tolls (if applicable)
•    Fuel surcharge		 •    Waiting time, each 15 minutes - $10.00
•    Additional stops, each address - $10.00
•    Additional passenger, each - $5.00
•    Skis - $5.00 each set
•    Pet traveling in car - $10.00
•    Stretch limousine - $25		 •    First 2 sets of golf clubs
•    Request specific driver

Shared Car Rates
The baseline for any Shared Rate is determined by the customer’s location and destination, and is based on pre-established rate zone.
Important Restrictions: Additional Fees May Include: Add-on Options Include:
•    The shared car rate applies only to airport runs to/from O’Hare.
•    When scheduling a shared ride it must be scheduled at the top or bottom of the hour.
•    Maximum 2 passengers from one address
 •    Late Night Rates (see chart below)
•    Cost of tolls (if applicable)
•    Fuel Surcharge
•    City of Chicago fees
 •    Additional passenger, each - $5.00
•    Golf clubs, each bag - $5.00

Charter Rates
Charter rates apply to reservations for events that are not considered point-to-point or airport pick-ups.

•    Next 4 hours - $40.00 / hour
•    Next 4 hours - $30.00 / hour

•    Next 4 hours - $50.00 / hour
•    2 hour minimum
•    Minimum 20% gratuity		 •    First 2 hours - $180.00

•    2 hour minimum
•    Minimum 20% gratuity

Important Restrictions:
•    Minimum 48 hour reservation required for all weddings, proms, concert and sporting event charters
•    Call for theatre rates.  Discounts and package specials available.

No Reservation Pick-up Rates
We offer no-reservation pick-ups within 2 hours of a call. Rates for these unscheduled trips are based on standard Alone Car Rates and are not charged any additional fees.

Holiday Rates
In order to show our customers how much we appreciate them, on holidays we reduce all fares to Standard Alone Rates.  Designated holidays when this discount applies include:
•    Memorial Day
•    July 4th
•    Labor Day
•    Thanksgiving		 •    Christmas Eve
•    Christmas Day
•    New Year’s Eve
•    New Year’s Day

City to City
Rates vary based on location and destination.  Call for a rate quote.
IMPORTANT RESTRICTION: Must be 3 hours between drop off and pick up or longer, otherwise Charter Rates apply.

Late Night Rates
Late night rates are effective during off-hours and are in addition to the standard fare for a reservation.  Late night rates apply for airport and city-to-city trips.  Charters are not included.

•    Standard rates apply from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM
•    Late night rates apply from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, see chart for details

Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
•    Weddings must be cancelled at least 10 business days in advance.
•    Charters and events must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance.
•    Airport trips between 5:00 am and 11:00 pm must be cancelled at least 2 hours in advance
•    Airport trips between 11:00 pm and 5:00 pm must be cancelled at least 6 hours in advance

Full fare and fuel fees will be charged for reservations not canceled by the deadline.

No Show Policy - Failing to appear for your scheduled reservation will result in a charge equal to the fare for the booking.
